  &lt;p&gt;3️⃣ &lt;span style="background-color: transparent;"&gt;&lt;strong style=""&gt;Vendor Committee:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt; Coordinate food vendors and merchandise/craft vendors to ensure a diverse range of options. &lt;span style="background-color: rgb(251, 175, 92);"&gt;&lt;strong style=""&gt;*IMMEDIATE NEED*&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

  &lt;p style="background-color: transparent;"&gt;4️⃣ &lt;strong&gt;Volunteer Coordination Committee:&lt;/strong&gt; Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for various festival tasks.&lt;/p&gt;

  &lt;p style="background-color: transparent;"&gt;5️⃣ &lt;strong&gt;Sponsorship Committee:&lt;/strong&gt; Secure sponsorships and in-kind donations to support the festival financially.&lt;/p&gt;

  &lt;p style="background-color: transparent;"&gt;6️⃣ &lt;strong&gt;Logistics / Security Committee:&lt;/strong&gt; Handle transportation, parking, and other logistical aspects of the event.&amp;nbsp;Ensure the safety of attendees by coordinating security and medical services.&lt;/p&gt;

  &lt;p style="background-color: transparent;"&gt;7️⃣ &lt;strong&gt;Community Partners Committee:&lt;/strong&gt; Engages with the local 501(c)3 non-profit organizations to foster collaboration and support.&lt;/p&gt;

  &lt;p style="background-color: transparent;"&gt;8️⃣ &lt;strong&gt;Venue and Stage Design Committee:&lt;/strong&gt; Develop a cohesive theme and aesthetic for the festival, and coordinate decorations and signage throughout the venue to reflect this theme. Collaborate with On Stage Program Committee to design the main stage setup.&lt;/p&gt;

  &lt;p style="background-color: transparent;"&gt;9️⃣ &lt;strong&gt;Children’s Pavilion:&lt;/strong&gt; Organize fun and creative activities for our young attendees!&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Mentorship Application (Mentees ONLY) (03/09/2026)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;The Filipino Young Professionals of Houston is excited to bring back our Mentorship Program for college students.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;By joining our program, mentees have the opportunity to connect with a working professional in their field of interest and a scholarship resource kit.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The program is set to start in July and end in September.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;To be eligible, interested mentees must:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ol&gt;
  &lt;li&gt;Be at least 18 years old&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Have availability for at least 3 hours per month between July to September&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Be attending or preparing to attend a higher education institute in any academic program&lt;/li&gt;

        &lt;p&gt;FYP Houston understands the significance of scholastic achievement in attaining success within an increasingly specialized job market. However, we also emphasize the value of cultivating cross-cultural relationships, as they contribute to the development of mutually beneficial social and professional connections.&lt;/p&gt;

        &lt;p&gt;At FYP, we acknowledge that cross-cultural exchange and diversity inclusion foster an environment that welcomes fresh ideas, which serve as the foundation for innovation. This commitment ensures that the professional market in Houston remains vibrant and forward-thinking, positioning it as one of the most dynamic in the United States. Nevertheless, innovation in any field requires individuals with new perspectives and ideas, who must be guided towards the appropriate career paths that ignite their passion.&lt;/p&gt;

        &lt;p&gt;With this in mind, FYP is dedicated to assisting aspiring young professionals in finding their true calling. We achieve this by providing a diverse network of seasoned professionals who can offer guidance and support. After all, who better to help a newcomer find their path than someone who has already walked that very same journey?&lt;/p&gt;

        &lt;p&gt;In pursuit of our mission, FYP Houston is thrilled to announce the opening of our scholarship application, offering aspiring young professionals the opportunity to further their education and pursue their dreams.&lt;strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;Every year, we offer three scholarships amounting to $2000 each, to students who exhibit excellence, dedication, and service.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;Applications typically open in the summer, and are awarded in October of that awarding year.&lt;/p&gt;

This hands-on workshop will cover foundational melodies and rhythms used in folk dance, while offering space to connect with the cultural traditions of Mindanao and the Sulu Archipelago.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="line-height: 25px;"&gt;&lt;font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color="#252932" style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;&lt;font&gt;Five instruments complete a Maguindanaon kulintang ensemble. The melodic&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;span&gt;instrument at the center of an ensemble is called the Kulintang. The accompanying instruments&lt;font&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;are the Agung, Babendil, Dabakan, and Gandingan.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="line-height: 25px;"&gt;&lt;font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color="#252932" style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;This is a free event with a suggested donation of $10, and is open to anyone interested. By day, he is a Business Systems Support Analyst in the pharmaceutical industry; by night, he applies that technical expertise to the preservation of Philippine heritage. Since joining the ensemble, Major has been a cornerstone of the company’s sustainability, notably securing its 501(c)(3) nonprofit status in 2013 and establishing its digital home at Parangal.org.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="line-height: 25px; font-size: 18px;"&gt;&lt;font face="Arial, sans-serif" color="#252932" style="font-size: 15px;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Matt Espinosa&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="line-height: 25px; font-size: 18px;"&gt;&lt;font face="Arial, sans-serif" color="#252932" style="font-size: 15px;"&gt;Matthew Espina Harris is a musician and cultural researcher based in Oakland. He got his start in Philippine dance and music through Pilipino Culture Night at UC Davis, where he fell in love with Kulintang and Rondalla. While attending university, Matthew established one of the only student-run, traditionally based Kulintang ensembles in the United States.In 2022, Matthew formally joined the artistic team of Parangal Dance Company, and now works as Co-Director of Music to strengthen the company’s gong and percussion repertoire.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;font color="#252932"&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;

By day, he is a Business Systems Support Analyst in the pharmaceutical industry; by night, he applies that technical expertise to the preservation of Philippine heritage. Since joining the ensemble, Major has been a cornerstone of the company’s sustainability, notably securing its 501(c)(3) nonprofit status in 2013 and establishing its digital home at Parangal.org.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

He got his start in Philippine dance and music through Pilipino Culture Night at UC Davis, where he fell in love with Kulintang and Rondalla. While attending university, Matthew established one of the only student-run, traditionally based Kulintang ensembles in the United States.In 2022, Matthew formally joined the artistic team of Parangal Dance Company, and now works as Co-Director of Music to strengthen the company’s gong and percussion repertoire.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;font color="#252932"&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;

      <description>&lt;p&gt;The Filipino Young Professionals of Houston is excited to bring back our Mentorship Program for college students. Applications are now open for mentors.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;By joining our program, mentor have the opportunity to connect, advise, and converse with college students.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The program is set to start in July and end in September.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;To be eligible, interested mentors must:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ol&gt;
  &lt;li&gt;Have at least two years of full-time working experience&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Must hold professional certification for their field (Examples: Associate's/Bachelor's/Master's Degree, certified licensure, or apprenticeship program)&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Dedicate three hours per month to the program&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Be interested and committed to assisting and aiding current college students&lt;/li&gt;
