• Who are the people in charge of the festival?

The festival is organized by the Filipino Young Professionals of Houston (FYP), a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to share the Filipino culture, empower the community through philanthropy and service and strengthen community connections. This is an ALL volunteer-led group. 

• How can I purchase tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online at go.fyphouston.com/htownfilfest or at the box office. Both cash and card payments are accepted at the box office, but cash payments are encouraged to avoid additional processing fees!

• How much are tickets?

Online pricing prior to festival:
- $19 (fees included) until 11:59 PM on Friday, October 16, 2026
- Group tickets (5 or more) are $17 each (fees included) until 11:59 PM on Friday, October 16, 2026
- Children 7 & under are free

Online & Gate pricing on day of festival:
- $22 (fees included)
- Children 7 & under are free

Discounted tickets for health care professionals, teachers, veterans and seniors (65+) are available only on festival day with a valid ID at the box office for $17 (fees included). Not valid online. 

• How can I access my digital tickets?

• Where can I park?

Free parking is available at the stadium. Parking attendants will be on site to direct traffic.

• What happens if it rains?

In the case of severe weather, festival officials will work closely with police and venue management to ensure maximum safety. Canceled or delayed performances will only occur during severe weather situations. The rescheduled date would be Sunday, October 19, 2025.

• What is the bag policy?

To provide a safer environment for the public and expedite fan entry into the stadium, the Sugar Land Space Cowboys will not allow large bags nor backpacks into the venue. Bags larger than 16” x 16” x 8” are strictly prohibited. As part of the Space Cowboys' ongoing commitment to the safety of all attendees, there is no re-entry into the ballpark once fans are scanned in.Exceptions include diaper bags, single-compartment drawstring bags, and other bags used for medical reasons if they are within the MLB Bag Size requirements to not exceed 16” x 16” x 8”. This policy applies to all guests. Guests that bring a diaper or medical bag will be required to utilize a bag check lane and may encounter delayed entry. To ensure guest safety, the Sugar Land Space Cowboys reserve the right to refuse admittance of any item deemed hazardous or suspicious. All bags will be searched upon entry.

In accordance with Major League Baseball's guidelines to ensure fan safety, walk through metal detectors will be used at all gates to facilitate and expedite entry to Constellation Field.

• What items are prohibited?

Some prohibited items include:

• drones
• firearms
• coolers
• tents
• lasers
• foldable/lawn chairs

Any item deemed to be inappropriate, hazardous, or distasteful by Festival, SLPD, or Constellation staff may be restricted from entry or removed from the stadium at any time.

• Exit & re-entry:

As part of the Space Cowboys' ongoing commitment to the safety of all attendees, there is no re-entry into the ballpark once fans are scanned in.

• Are pets allowed?

No pets allowed, unless they are certified service animals with documentation.

• What payment methods will be accepted?

Cash and credit card.

• What time will the program start?

Main Stage program begins at 3:30 PM.

• Can I bring outside food/drinks?

No bottles, cans, food, beverages or containers may be brought into Constellation Field with the exception of one (1) sealed plastic bottle of non-flavored water no larger than 16 oz. per person.

• How do we buy drinks?

You will be able to purchase drinks from several drink stations around the festival grounds. Filipino beverages and boba tea are available from vendors.

• Will alcohol and/or beer be available?

Alcohol is available for purchase from any Aramark drink station.

• What is the difference between vendors, sponsors, and community partners?

Vendors: Vendors are individuals or businesses that sell products or services related to Filipino culture or other relevant items.

Sponsors: Sponsors are organizations or businesses that provide financial or in-kind support to the festival in exchange for various promotional opportunities and benefits.

Community Partners: Community partners are non-profit organizations or groups that collaborate with the festival to promote cultural awareness, education, or social causes.

Together, these components create a vibrant and multifaceted Houston Filipino Street Festival, enriching the experience for all attendees while also supporting the community and its cultural heritage.

• What is available for kids?

There are many activities in the Children’s Pavilion including arts and crafts, a reading corner, and Filipino games. The playground and splash pad located next to the Children’s Pavilion will also be open for kiddos to enjoy!
